Maintenance & upkeep, Ease of use

Who it's for: People who want ear-based stimulation they can pair with audio.

Calm devices are sold as general wellness products, not medical devices. Evidence is early; we cite what exists. Not every device here stimulates the vagus nerve: Pulsetto and Truvaga stimulate at the neck, Xen at the ear (tVNS), while Apollo and Sensate use vibration and Hapbee uses signal claims. Nurosym (ear tVNS) is investigational and not sold in the US. gammaCore is an FDA-cleared neck stimulator for certain headache disorders and is prescription-only, so we don’t link to it.
